kaitlyn Kotala

Registered Psychotherapist & Clinical Director, MACP, BA

“I like to think of therapy as a journey and treatment planning as a map: we have a destination we want to get to (main therapeutic goals), but we may come across a few side quests that we need to work through first while on our journey (daily stressors & new unexpected challenges.)”

  • My services prioritize flexibility and comfort so I offer a hybrid model of therapy services to meet clients where they’re at, whether it’s in the office, virtually, or outdoors

  • I have a strong interest in environmental psychology and the impacts that our environments and lifestyles have on our mental health and well-being

  • I love combining the therapeutic properties of nature and the arts with the psyche

  • I offer LGBTQ2SIA+ and neurodiversity affirming care

  • I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario

  • I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Lakehead University and my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University
