Haley Andrew-Pels
Art Therapy Student
Haley (they / he) is looking to encourage your creative expressions and support your journey in building a strong sense of self-worth. They believe feeling seen and understood by your therapist is an integral part of the healing process. Haley is suited to working with clients who are neurodivergent, queer, trans, non-monogamous, or otherwise underrepresented. They will aid you in identifying your personal values and how to live in alignment with them.
Haley is passionate about building a more compassionate world, which begins with a more gentle relationship with ourselves. Their therapeutic approach is collaborative, narrative, attachment-based, decolonized, and intersectional. There are zero art skills required for art therapy! It is about the process of creating and expressing, NOT about what it looks like– though if the thought makes you nervous, know that you are definitely not alone! Questions are always welcome!
A little more about me …
I love experimenting with and playing with different art mediums like poetry, getting outside to stare at bodies of water, live music, RPGS, and my fluffy cat Meeko!
